Milo’s Little Discoveries
Milo’s Little
Explorer Pack
Look. Listen. Discover.

Five little activities for curious kids, plus a note for grown-ups.
Activity 1 · Taste adventure
Explore food like Milo
You can look, smell, touch, listen… and taste if you want to. Find something that is:
My little taste discovery
Choose one food. What did you do?
What did you notice?
Draw your food:
Trying something new can start with just one little hello.
Activity 2 · Discovery hunt
How many little things can you find?
Go indoors or outside with a grown-up. Check each discovery you find.
Milo’s extra challenge
Stop somewhere quiet. Close your eyes. What can you hear?
What was your favorite discovery?
Activity 3 · Look closer
What do you see?
Find a leaf, flower, rock, toy, or snack. Look very closely.
Before I looked closely, I thought it looked like…
Then I noticed…
Draw the little details you found:
Sometimes the smallest things have the biggest surprises.
Activity 4 · Picnic drawing
A little picnic with Milo
If you could bring one food to Milo’s picnic, what would it be? Draw it on the blanket, then give it a name.
I would bring…
You could ask: What color is it? Is it crunchy, smooth, soft, or something else?
Activity 5 · Certificate
Official Little Explorer
This certificate belongs to
who looked closely, wondered about the world, and made a little discovery.
Today I discovered…
Date:
Well done, little explorer!
A note for grown-ups
Try a little taste picnic
Choose a few familiar foods and one that is new or less familiar. Invite your child to explore colors, shapes, smells, and textures at their own pace.
You might ask:
- What do you notice?
- What does it smell like?
- Do you think it will crunch?
- What color do you see?
Looking, smelling, touching, and talking all count. There is no need to finish or taste anything. The goal is simply to notice and explore together.
